Oyster Advice

Dr. Tom Pickerell from the Shellfish Association of Great Britain introduces oysters from the UK, and demonstrates opening them and some recipie ideas.

Chris Piller demonstrates the Rossmore Oyster Cracker!

The Cracker is a new tool that we have discovered, and it makes opening oysters so easy, with three simple steps:

  • 1. Snip a small hole between the shells.
  • 2. Insert blade and scrape along the top, flat shell
  • 3. Cut meat from the cupped shell last, slurp and enjoy!
